Event Overview

The Sirhowy Loop is a multi-terrain running event held on 03 May 2026. Now in its third year, the race follows a scenic route through the Sirhowy area. There is a single race distance available:

Participation and Course Details

The course is described as an undulating loop. Due to the terrain, it is not suitable for wheelchair athletes. Participation is open to runners of various abilities, though all participants must be at least 17 years old on the day of the race. The event has a registration limit of 200 places.

Logistics and Facilities

Race headquarters are located at the Ynysddu Hotel, which is situated a short walking distance from the starting line. Registration and number collection take place on the morning of the event at the registration desk. Toilet facilities are provided at the Progressive Club in Ynysddu.

Following the conclusion of the race, an awards ceremony is held at the Progressive Club. Prizes are awarded to the first male and first female finishers. Every participant who finishes the course receives a drinks token.

Regulations

The event operates under a UKA Race Licence. Headphones are not permitted during the race, with the exception of bone conducting headphones. Registration requires a predicted finish time to assist with volunteer placement. Once entered, cancellations or deferrals are not permitted, although place transfers via the official registration portal are allowed until 16 May 2026.
