Sioux Falls Skedaddle : event details
The 9th Annual Sioux Falls Skedaddle takes place on Sunday, May 17, 2026, in Sioux Falls, SD (225 E. 11th Street). The event is hosted by 605 Running Company and includes two race events:
- Half Marathon
- Zippy Mile (Bryan Boys for Hope Zippy Mile, Superhero Edition)
Entry fees listed are $65 for the half marathon and $35 for the Zippy Mile. The half marathon is open to ages 12 and up. The first 50 registrants will receive a mailed surprise gift in January 2026. The Zippy Mile includes a superhero costume contest and its proceeds support Bryan Boys for Hope. Shirts and swag are available in limited sizes.
Logistics and policies
The half marathon starts at Family Park and finishes at Fawick Park; the Zippy Mile uses a shared finish line at Fawick Park and a start near Cherry Rock Park. Shuttle transportation is provided from Fawick Park to the half marathon start. No parking is available at Family Park; a drop-off zone is available there for a limited time. Bag drop is available at the Family Park start and requires the provided clear snap bag. Race day packet pickup is not available. Finish area activities at Fawick Park include refreshments, music, and photos. Pace teams are listed for the half marathon with target times: 1:40, 1:50, 2:00, 2:10, 2:20, 2:30, 2:40, 3:10.
