Sioux Falls Skedaddle
The Sioux Falls Skedaddle takes place Sunday, May 16, 2027, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The weekend includes a point-to-point half marathon and a family-friendly one-mile event called the Zippy Mile.
The half marathon is a point-to-point course that starts at Family Park and finishes at Fawick Park in downtown Sioux Falls. Pace teams are planned for a range of finish times, and the race will include professional timing, on-course hydration and fuel, and a finish-line celebration at Fawick Park. Participant swag is produced in limited quantities. Packet pickup and additional weekend activities are scheduled the day before at 605 Running Company Downtown.
The Zippy Mile, held near Cherry Rock Park and finishing at Fawick Park, is a family-oriented mile with a superhero costume theme, a costume contest, finish-line activities, milk and cookies, and participant shirts and finisher medals while supplies last.
Awards for the half marathon will recognize the top three overall male and female finishers and leading male and female runners in age groups 19 and under, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, and 60 and over. Zippy Mile awards will recognize the first overall male and female finishers.
