Event Overview

The Kiwanis Club of Sioux Falls organizes an annual fundraising event under the new name Lace Up for Kids. The event is designed to support children and youth in the local community. Funds raised stay local.

There is also a free-will donation bake sale. People can attend the bake sale without participating in the run or walk.

Course Details

The course is a flat, out-and-back route along a bike path. It starts and finishes at Cherry Rock Park in Sioux Falls, SD.

Awards

Awards are given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in four categories: Men under 39, Men 40 and over, Women under 39, and Women 40 and over.

Registration Policy

The event does not provide participant swag, such as t-shirts, to keep costs down. Registration fees are listed as $25 for the 5k and $35 for the 10-mile race. The bake sale registration is free. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
