Lace Up for Kids: 5k, 10 Mile, & Bake Sale is a fundraiser presented by the Kiwanis Club of Sioux Falls on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at Cherry Rock Park, 1800 E 18th St, Sioux Falls, SD 57103. The event includes a run/walk and a bake sale with proceeds staying local to support children and youth programs.

- 5k : $25
- 10 mile : $35
- Bake Sale : free-will donation (no entry fee)
Registration for the races closes April 10, 2026. The bake sale registration opens February 2, 2026. Organizers have chosen not to provide event swag and kept registration costs reduced.
Course, awards, and logistics
The course is described as a flat out-and-back along the bike path beginning and ending at Cherry Rock Park. Packet pick-up details are to be announced. Awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place will be given in these categories: men age <39, men age >40, women age <39, and women age >40.

All funds raised by the race and the bake sale remain local. Supported organizations listed include Adopt A Family, CASA, Feeding South Dakota, Kids Against Hunger, McCrossan Boys Ranch, Sioux Falls Humane Society, The Banquet - Project: SOS, The Salvation Army Angel Tree, and others.
