Lace Up for Kids : Kiwanis Club fundraiser at Cherry Rock Park
The Kiwanis Club of Sioux Falls organizes an annual fundraiser featuring running races and a bake sale to support children and youth in the community. The event is centered at Cherry Rock Park in Sioux Falls, SD, and combines road/bike-path running with a free-will donation bake sale.

Registration fees for the races are kept low to maximize funds raised; the bake sale operates on a free-will donation basis. Organizers will not distribute event swag such as T-shirts as a cost-saving measure.
The running course is a flat out-and-back along the bike path beginning and ending at Cherry Rock Park. Packet pick-up is available the day before at Central Bank (4900 S Western Ave) and on race morning. Runners receive awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in separate categories for men and women: under 39 and 40 and older.
All funds raised from the races and the bake sale remain in the local area. Supported organizations include local child-focused groups such as Adopt A Family, CASA, Feeding South Dakota, and others that provide services like hunger relief, literacy support, and childcare assistance.
