Event details
The Lucky 7's takes place on Saturday, March 14, 2026, in downtown Sioux Falls, SD. The event center is listed as 605 Running Company at 225 E. 11th Street. The race program includes the following distances:
- 5 Mile Run/Walk - start and finish at Fawick Park near 605 Running Company
- 5K Run/Walk - start and finish at Fawick Park
- 1 Mile - begins in front of the federal courthouse and follows Phillips Avenue north into Lower Falls Park
- Shamrock Shuffle - entry for participants completing all three events
Entry fees shown in the event information are $40 for individual distances and $115 for the combined Shamrock Shuffle. Prices increase after December 31, 2025.
Participant information
All registered participants receive a parade button in their race packet; the button supports the St. Francis House. A finisher medal is awarded to those who complete all three races. A limited supply of event T-shirts is available on a first-registered, first-served basis. The first 50 registrants will receive a mailed surprise gift in January 2026.
Race headquarters will provide indoor space, snacks and beverages, and a recovery zone with foam rollers and yoga mats. Route maps are provided for each distance. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
