Sinton Volunteer Fire Department Turkey Trot 5K & 1K Kids Run
The event takes place on November 14, 2026, at Welder Park on N. Rachal St in Sinton, TX. It features community running events with proceeds directed to the Sinton Volunteer Fire Department to support equipment, training, and maintenance.
The event includes the following distances:
- 5K Run/Walk (donation)
- 1K Kids Run for ages 8 and under (donation)
Additional categories include a firefighter category that requires participants to run in gear. The course begins at Welder Park, follows streets through Sinton, passes through the Fire Department bay, and returns to the park for the finish. Awards and post-run refreshments will be provided, and family-oriented activities are part of the event.
Bib pickup and late registration are scheduled for Friday, November 13 at the fire station at 317 E. Market St, Sinton, TX from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, and on the day of the event at the park from 6:30 AM to 7:30 AM. The first 150 registrants are guaranteed shirts and medals.
