Sinton Volunteer Fire Department Turkey Trot 5K & 1K Kids Run
The event takes place on November 14, 2026 at Welder Park on N. Rachal St in Sinton, TX. It is organized as a community run/walk with proceeds directed to the Sinton Volunteer Fire Department to support equipment, training, and maintenance.

- 5K Run/Walk
- 1K Kids Run/Walk, age 10 and under
- 5K Fire Fighter / Fire Fighter Volunteer category, must run in gear
The course starts at Welder Park, follows streets through Sinton, passes through the Fire Department bay, and returns to the park for the finish. A 1K route is available; the 5K route is noted as coming soon.
Bib pickup and late registration are scheduled before the event at the fire station at 317 E. Market St on the Friday prior and at the park on race day. The first 250 registrants are guaranteed shirts and medals, and the shirt deadline is October 31. Sponsorship opportunities are offered.
Firefighter entrants are required to wear turnout gear during the 5K category; firefighter boots are optional and running shoes are recommended for safety and comfort.
