Keeping Diabetes at Bay 5K Walk/Run
The event is the fifth annual 5K walk/run held on November 14, 2026, at Water's Edge Park in Corpus Christi, Texas. It is organized by Texas A&M Coastal Bend Health Education Center, a non-profit that helps people manage diabetes and provides resources at no cost.
Proceeds support the Diabetes Education Program so it can provide free community resources such as blood glucose meters, testing supplies, and free health screenings throughout the year.

Pre-race packet pick-up is scheduled for November 11 and 12 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., and November 13 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at Coastal Bend Health Education Center, 4215 S. Staples St., Corpus Christi, TX. Race day packet pick-up will be available at the Water's Edge Park race site the morning of the event.
