Event overview
The Singing River Runs takes place on April 11, 2026 in Mooresville, AL. This is the fourth edition of the event and it benefits the Singing River Trail, a planned 200+ mile greenway intended to connect the region, support education, health and wellness, economic and tourism opportunities, and celebrate Native American heritage. Course, logistics and awards
The races start and finish at the Singing River House, 4865 Arrowhead Landing Road, Mooresville, AL 35649. Courses are on packed dirt and gravel roads through the Mooresville area, running through 1818 Farms and down to the river and back. The routes are shaded by trees and are listed as non-certified for 2026. Parking is available along Old Hwy 20 about 0.2 miles from the start/finish area. Packet pickup is scheduled Friday at RunningLane (2407 Memorial Pkwy SW, Huntsville) from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM and at the race site the morning of the event from 7:15 to 7:45 AM.
All participants receive a special award. Overall male, female, and masters winners in the 25K, 10K, and 5K receive special awards. Awards are also given in 10-year age groups, including 14 and under and 80 and over. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
