Event overview
The Singing River Runs takes place on April 11, 2026, in Mooresville, AL. This is the fourth running of the event and it benefits the Singing River Trail, a planned 200+ mile greenway system for North Alabama. The race is held in conjunction with the Blue Heron Hundreds, which includes a 100 mile, 100K, and 50K series. Sponsors listed include Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama and REI Sports. Participants may remain after the shorter races for music, snacks, and to watch the longer-distance runners.

Course and logistics
All courses begin and end at the Singing River House, 4865 Arrowhead Landing Road, Mooresville, AL 35649. Routes run on packed dirt and gravel roads through 1818 Farms, reach the river, and return. The courses are described as shaded with tree canopy and are non-certified for 2026. Parking is available along Old Hwy 20, about 0.2 miles from the start/finish area. Packet pickup is available Friday, April 10 at RunningLane, 2407 Memorial Pkwy SW, Huntsville, AL 35801 from 3:00 pm to 5:30 pm, and at the race site on April 11 from 7:15 am to 7:45 am. All participants receive a special award; overall male, female, and masters winners in each distance will receive special awards. Age-group awards are given in 10-year divisions from 14 and under through 80 and over for both male and female categories. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
