Event Details

The Singing River Runs is a running event in Mooresville, Alabama. It is the fourth edition of the event, which benefits the Singing River Trail. The Singing River Trail is a planned 200+ mile greenway system for North Alabama.

The event offers three race distances: 25K, 10K, and 5K. All races start and finish at the Singing River House on Arrowhead Landing Road. The courses use packed dirt and gravel roads. They run through the property of 1818 Farms and go to the river before returning. The routes are shaded by trees. Parking is available along Old Highway 20, approximately 0.2 miles from the start area.

The event is held in conjunction with the Blue Heron Hundreds ultramarathon. Participants can stay after their race for music and snacks and to watch the longer-distance runners.

Every participant receives a special award. Additional awards are given to the overall and masters winners (male and female) in each distance. Age group awards are also presented for ten-year categories.

Packet pickup is available on the day before the race in Huntsville and on race morning at the event site. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
