Event Overview

Course Details
The starting point is Cunningsburgh Hall, Shetland, ZE2 9HA. The course is an accurately measured 13.1 miles (half marathon). The route is mainly on roads and finishes on an athletics track. The course is unsuitable for wheelchairs.
Participant Information
Runners must be at least 17 years old on race day. Running with buggies or pets is not permitted. In accordance with UK Athletics rules, in-ear headphones are not allowed; only bone-conducting headphones are approved for use.
There is a strict overall cutoff time of 3 hours. Runners must reach the checkpoint at Gulberwick within 2 hours and 15 minutes to remain in the race.
Registration
Online entries close on Sunday, 10th May 2026. Race numbers cannot be transferred to another runner. No refunds will be given unless the race is canceled.
