Silverdale Circuit

Silverdale Circuit 2026 is a 19-mile, undulating but runnable route that starts in Milnthorpe and finishes after a section featuring Arnside Knott and the Fairy Steps. The course takes in Dalham Deer Park, Leighton Hall, Leighton Moss Nature Reserve, Silverdale, and a technical single-track coastline, providing stunning views across Morecambe Bay and the Lake District. The route is self-navigated, with a mandatory winter kit list.

Entrants receive a detailed route description, timing, fully stocked checkpoints, a hot meal, and a bespoke finishers’ medal. With easy M6 access and low-level terrain, it’s a challenging but scenic February event run by Ascend Events. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
