Silverbacktrails Othnesbery’s Revenge
SilverBackTrails Othnesbery’s Revenge is a challenging trail running event held in the scenic North York Moors National Park. Covering approximately 10 miles, the course features forest tracks, heather-clad moorland, and multiple ascents of Roseberry Topping, a distinctive hill with historical Viking connections. Participants navigate a route marked with marshals and flags, supported by a checkpoint offering refreshments.
The event emphasizes self-sufficiency, requiring runners to carry mandatory safety and navigation gear. Limited to 50 competitors aged 16 and over, all finishers receive a bespoke medal and certificate. The race offers a rugged, authentic trail experience with stunning natural surroundings and a "sting in the tail" challenge near Odin’s Seat.
