The Silver Falls Trail Challenge is Race 1 of the PNW State Park Trail Series. It takes place at Silver Falls State Park, Sublimity, OR, on February 28, 2026. The event offers three options: a quarter marathon, a half marathon, and a 12-mile Ruck Challenge. Silver Falls State Park charges a $10 parking fee per car (cash or card). Packet pick-up is available Friday, February 27 at the Orchards Shelter from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM; race day pick-up is available starting at 7:00 AM. The organizer’s refund policy allows entries to be moved to another event of equal value within 12 months if the runner contacts the organizer before the week of the race. No refunds are offered.

The quarter marathon is one clockwise loop of the Trail of Ten Falls, starting and finishing at the Orchards Shelter. The half marathon is essentially a double loop of the same trail, linking on the Canyon Trail, running clockwise, passing North Falls then the Rim Trail, and using the Maple Ridge Trail on the second loop. The 12-mile Ruck follows the half marathon route except the second loop uses the Winter Trail, reducing the course by over one mile; participants should follow trail markings.
