Event Details
This is the sixth annual event. It takes place at Silver Bluff Brewing at 1325 Newcastle Street in Brunswick, Georgia. The event features a 5k and a Beer Mile.
The 5k course goes through historic Brunswick. The course is described as flat.
A Beer Mile involves running one mile while consuming four 12-ounce beers, with one beer after each quarter-mile.
Additional Activities
Live music, beer, and food are available all day. Silver Bluff Brewing will have 14 beers on tap, along with a hard seltzer and frozen cocktails. Food trucks begin service at 11am.
Two live music acts are scheduled: an Irish punk band named "Blood Sweat and Whisky" and later, a band called "Hot banana Coffee" performing in the beer garden.
Prizes are awarded for the two best-dressed runners in St. Patrick's Day attire. Age group and overall awards are also given.
Logistics
Race packets can be picked up on the Friday before the event from 5pm to 7pm at Silver Bluff. On the day of the event, packet pickup and onsite registration are available starting at 9am and close at 10:15am. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
