Northern Traverse 2026

This is a 300 km self-supported ultra race. The route follows Wainwright's Coast to Coast path from St Bees on the west coast to Robin Hood's Bay on the east coast. The course passes through three National Parks and includes approximately 6,500 m of ascent.

The event dates are from Saturday, 28 March to Wednesday, 1 April 2026. The minimum age for participants is 18.

The entry fee operates on a tiered, non-refundable deposit system plus instalments. The total fee is either £799, £849, or £899, depending on the date of entry. The deposit is £99 until 20 April, £149 until 26 October 2025, and £199 from 27 October 2025 onward. The remaining £700 balance is split into two interest-free instalments of £350, due by 1 July 2025 and 1 December 2025, respectively. The race organizer is Ourea Events.
