Northern Traverse

The Northern Traverse® 2026 is a challenging 300km self-supported ultra marathon following Wainwright’s Coast to Coast route from St Bees to Robin Hood’s Bay in England. Taking place from March 28 to April 1, 2026, the race traverses the north of England through three national parks, featuring iconic mountains, valleys, and moors with approximately 6,500 meters of ascent. Participants must be at least 18 years old and compete in a demanding environment that tests endurance and resilience.
