Northern Traverse 2027
Northern Traverse 2027 is a 300 km self-supported ultra race that follows Wainwright’s Coast to Coast route from St Bees to Robin Hood’s Bay. The route crosses northern England from the west coast to the east coast and passes through three National Parks.
The course takes in mountains, valleys and moors and includes approximately 6,500 m of ascent. The event is presented as a self-supported race, with participants expected to manage their own resources during the route.
The event is scheduled from 3 April to 7 April 2027. Entries open on 15 June 2026 and close on 19 March 2027. The minimum age for entry is 18 on the event date.
The entry fee totals GBP £899 and includes a non-refundable deposit of £199 plus a remaining balance of £700 split into two interest-free instalments of £350. Instalments are due by 1st June and 1st October. The event also offers an optional XCover purchase that may allow a refund if a participant is unable to attend.
