Northern Traverse 2027
The Northern Traverse is a 300 km self supported ultra race that follows Wainwright’s Coast to Coast route from St Bees Seafront on the west coast to Robin Hood’s Bay on the east coast. The route crosses three National Parks and passes mountains, valleys and moors, with approximately 6,500 m of ascent.
The event is scheduled for 3 to 7 April 2027. Minimum age to enter is 18 on the event date. Entries opened on 15 June 2026 and the general entry period closes on 19 March 2027; at the time of this listing the event is full and new entrants are placed on a waiting list. To join the waiting list an entrant registers on the entry site without paying; if a place becomes available the organiser will invite the entrant to complete payment to confirm entry.
Standard entry totals £899, with a non refundable deposit of £199 and a balance of £700 paid in seven interest free instalments of £100 from July to January. Charity entry options require a fundraising pledge and a reduced fee of £449.50, with a non refundable deposit of £199.50 and a balance of £250 paid in three instalments.
