Event overview
The Northern Traverse® 2026 is a 300 km self-supported ultra race following Wainwright’s Coast to Coast route from St Bees to Robin Hood’s Bay. The route crosses the north of England through three National Parks and includes mountains, valleys, moors and about 6,500 m of ascent. The event runs from Saturday 28th March to Wednesday 1st April 2026. The minimum age is 18 or older on the event date.
Entries, fees and format
Entries open on 9 April 2025 and close on 15 March 2026. Entry fee totals are either £799, £849 or £899 depending on when the entrant pays. Fees include a non-refundable deposit (tiered at £99, £149 or £199 depending on date) and a remaining balance of £700 payable in two interest-free instalments of £350 due by 1 July 2025 and 1 December 2025. Registration and entry processing use the SiEntries system. The organiser is Ourea Events.
