Silo Sprint 5K
The Silo Sprint 5K takes place at Frank Liske Park in Concord, North Carolina. This event celebrates the reconstruction of the Frank Liske Park Barn, which was rebuilt in 2023 following a fire in 2020. The event features an 80s-themed atmosphere, encouraging participants to wear themed attire.
Two primary events are available for participants:

- Silo Sprint Fun Run/Walk
Participants receive a custom race shirt, a bib, and a goodie bag. Those who register by May 29, 2026, are guaranteed a shirt in their specific size. Following the run, attendees have access to several park amenities, including free mini golf and paddleboat access. The park grounds also feature sno cones, a playground, fishing spots, and various trails.
Awards are presented to the top overall male and female finishers, as well as winners in Masters and Grand Masters categories. Individual awards are also provided for the top three finishers in multiple age groups, ranging from 10 and under to 75 and over. Packet pickup is scheduled for the Friday before the race at the park office and on the morning of the event at the barn. Race day registration is also available at the barn location.
