Signpost Challenge Marple

The Signpost Challenge Hike is a scenic and challenging event taking place in Marple, hosted by South Manchester LDWA. Participants can choose between two routes: a 24-mile trek with 4,300 feet of elevation gain or a 19-mile route with 3,000 feet of elevation. The hike features stunning views of Manchester, the South Pennines, and the Peak District, while also showcasing areas of industrial heritage.

The event includes four outdoor checkpoints with refreshments and concludes with a hot meal for all finishers. Registration opens in April 2024, with entries closing in mid-October. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
