Piethorne 10K
The event is a circular trail run around Piethorne and Ogden reservoirs that also touches the edge of Hollingworth Lake. The route passes both over and under the M62 and features a mix of twists, turns, climbs and descents along rural and reservoir-side paths.
The advertised distance is 10 km with 275 metres of ascent (900 ft). The race is scheduled for Sunday 16 August 2026 and the venue is listed as Bulls Head, Lane Bottom, Newhey, Rochdale OL16 3TD. Entrants are charged £14 with an additional £2 for non affiliated runners; entries on the day are £20. The minimum age for entry is 16.
