PHI Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc, Theta Delta Sigma Chapter Mental Health and Wellness 5K Run/Walk
This event is a community 5K run/walk held on May 16, 2026, at Long Branch Park, 1101 Branch Dr, Killeen, TX 76543. It is organized in recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month and is presented in partnership with the local school district.
The event supports two beneficiaries: scholarships for high school students pursuing college and NAMI, an organization focused on advocacy, education, support, and public awareness for people affected by mental illness. A remote participation option is available for those outside the Central Texas area.
There are separate registration categories with published fees: an in-person adult category, an under-18 category, and a remote-only category. Registration opens March 18, 2026 and closes May 16, 2026. The first 70 registered participants are guaranteed an event T-shirt; registrations completed by April 17, 2026 receive shirts on race day, while later registrations will have shirts mailed to the address on file.
Awards and prizes are planned for top finishers in running and walking divisions, including cash gift cards and medals, with additional medal places for under-18 finishers.
