PHI BETA SIGMA FRATERNITY INC, THETA DELTA SIGMA CHAPTER Mental Health and Wellness 5K Run/Walk
The event is an annual 5K run and walk scheduled for May 16, 2026 at Long Branch Park, 1101 Branch Dr, Killeen, TX 76543. It is presented as a community family wellness day in recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month.
The event is a fundraiser supporting two causes: scholarships for high school students pursuing college and NAMI, an organization focused on advocacy, education, support, and public awareness for people and families affected by mental illness.
There are multiple participation options and fees: in person adult registration fee is $40, under 18 registration fee is $10, and a remote only option is listed at $20. Registration opens March 18, 2026 and closes May 16, 2026. The first 70 registered participants are guaranteed an event T shirt. Participants registered by April 17, 2026 are scheduled to receive their shirt on race day; registrations after that date will have shirts mailed to the address on file.
Awards include cash gift cards and medals for top finishers and medals for other placing categories. An awards ceremony is scheduled to be held immediately after the race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
