Event overview

The Sidmouth Four Trigs is an off-road trail race held in Sidmouth, England on 8 February 2026. The course is a loop based at the Watersports Hub, EX10 8BG, and requires competitors to visit four trig points in order: High Peak, Beacon Hill, Buckton Hill and Weston Cliff. The route is approximately 27 km (about 17 miles) with around 914 m (about 3,000 ft) of climb reported in one source. Profits from the race are donated to Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY).

Course, logistics and entry

Runners may choose their own route between trig points but must visit them in the specified order; excessive road use is discouraged. There are additional checkpoints along the course. The race finishes where it starts. Facilities at the Watersports Hub include toilets, showers and refreshments. Marshals will be positioned at Four Elms, White Cross, Sidbury and near the Donkey Sanctuary. No runners under 18 and no dogs are allowed. Entry is by pre-entry only, with an entry limit noted as 160 in one source. Finishers receive hot food and cakes and a slate finisher medal produced in the Otter Valley.
