Summer Challenge Day 1 : 27 June 2026
Running Events Devon presents a timed summer challenge held on 27 June 2026 near Capel Lane, Littleham, Exmouth EX8 2QZ. The event uses a Turn Up Get Going system that allows arrival during the event window and completion of multiple laps within the permitted cut off.
The course is an accurately measured road route run entirely on tarmac along a former disused train line. Each lap is 5.3 km out and back on a scenic alignment. Participants may complete one lap or multiple laps up to the permitted maximum stated by the organiser; examples given include one, four or fourteen laps within the allowed time.
Entry is limited to a maximum of 75 entrants and the minimum age is 18 years. Entries close on 26 June 2026. Prices listed for the event are: affiliated £32.00, unattached £34.00, affiliated no perks £21.00, and unattached no perks £23.00. Registered finishers who complete at least one lap within the permitted time are recorded as finishers and can collect a medal. If the event reaches capacity, later entrants will receive a bespoke medal choice from those available on the day.
