Iwazaru Challenge Day 2
The Iwazaru Challenge Day 2 takes place on Sunday, 27 June 2027. It is an 8 hour timed event on an accurately measured, road classified course run entirely on tarmac along an old disused train line. The route is out and back and each lap is 5.3 km. The terrain is described as undulating and the event listing also notes off road and paved surfaces.
The event uses a TUGG system (Turn Up Get Going), so participants may start at a flexible time on the event day and must complete their final lap within the event time limit. Participants who complete any number of laps within the permitted time are classed as finishers and may collect a medal. The event has a maximum of 75 entrants and a minimum age of 15 years.
