Sibelco Cornwood 10K Challenge & Fun Run
The event takes place in Cornwood on Saturday 25 July 2026 and is organised by St Michael & All Angels Church. Both races start and finish at Cornwood Square and the 10 km route passes around Cornwood and Lutton, mostly on roads with some tracks. The 10 km is held under UKA rules and has a minimum age of 16 years.
Distances:
- 10 km Challenge: course around Cornwood and Lutton, mostly on roads with some tracks.
- 4 km Fun Run or walk: for under 16s, families, or those preferring fewer hills.
Facilities include refreshments, baggage and changing. Medals are awarded to all finishers and there are team prizes. A £50 bonus is offered for establishing a new 10 km course record. Current 10 km course records are: male 33:34 set in 2018 and female 39:16 set in 2024.
Race organisers prohibit wearing headphones during the event. Race numbers will be available for collection at the Entries Tent in Cornwood Square on race day.
Entries open on 1 April 2026 and close on 23 July 2026. Entry fees listed by the organiser are: 10 km Challenge £12 EA affiliated and £14 unaffiliated; 4 km Fun Run £4 for under 16s and £5 for those 16 and over. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
