Shuttleversary 5K
The Shuttleversary 5K is scheduled for April 11, 2027 in Cocoa Beach, Florida and is held alongside the Annual Cocoa Beach Triathlon. The course covers the cart path and the hard-packed fairways of the Cocoa Beach Golf Course and offers views of the Banana River and local bird life. The 5K shares the same finish line that triathletes use minutes later.
Because the run coincides with the triathlon, the in-person field is limited to 200 entrants. Registration is open and a limited number of entries will be accepted at packet pickup on April 10, 2027. There are no age group awards for this event; awards are given to the top 10 male and top 10 female finishers. Refunds are not available for any reason.
A virtual option is available with a listed fee of $35 plus a service fee. Virtual entries do not include shirts. Virtual participants must submit proof of their runs; examples of acceptable methods include device or app records such as Fitbit, Garmin, treadmill data, or MapMyRun. Virtual distance may be completed in multiple segments as long as the total equals the registered distance. Virtual runners receive a medal and a bib, there is no minimum age for the virtual run, and virtual entries are open only to US addresses. Virtual submissions are reviewed by staff and approved submissions are mailed as a packet in roughly 2 to 3 weeks. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
