Shuck Cancer 5K

The Shuck Cancer 5K is an annual running event held in Lewes, Delaware. The 2026 edition marks the fourth year of this race held at the Big Oyster Brewery. The event serves as a fundraiser for Fighting Pretty, a non-profit organization focused on providing empowerment and support to women during their cancer journey.

The following distances are available:

The race starts and finishes at the Big Oyster Brewery along Kings Highway. Participants receive race snacks, race SWAG, and a post-race beer. An after-party takes place at the brewery following the run, featuring raffle opportunities and merchandise from the beneficiary organization.

Awards are presented to the overall male and female winners, as well as the top male and female masters. There are also awards for the top three finishers in various age groups, ranging from 13 and under to 70 and over.
