SHRM Washington DC Impact 5K
The SHRM Washington DC Impact 5K is a charity event on November 7, 2026 held at Rock Creek Park, Rock Creek/Beach Drive, 4850 Colorado Ave NW, Washington DC 20011. The event supports the SHRM Foundation scholarship efforts that focus on inclusive workplaces and workforce development.

- 5K in-person
- 5K virtual
Registration fees vary by date. In-person fees are $40 through September 25, $45 September 26 through October 25, and $55 October 26 through November 7. Virtual fees are $50 through September 25 and $55 September 26 through October 23. All in-person registrants receive a custom bib, race shirt, and medal; race shirts are only guaranteed for registrations completed by October 25. Virtual registrations include shipping of a packet containing a bib, shirt, and medal.
The event includes a Gratitude and Veterans Appreciation Drive. Participants may bring a new pack of warm thermal socks or write a handwritten note for local veterans at the Washington DC VA Medical Center. Donations to support the SHRM Foundation will also be accepted.
Packet pick up is offered at the =PR= Run & Walk Store in Arlington and at the race site in Rock Creek Park. Awards for the top three overall male and female finishers will be mailed after the race. Strollers, pets or dogs, bicycles, and inline skates are prohibited on the course. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
