Shrewsbury 50K
The Shrewsbury 50K is an ultramarathon held on Saturday 18 September 2027. The route is the reverse leg of the Church Stretton 50K, beginning with the Burway climb before a generally easier run back toward Shrewsbury.
Registration and the start are at Rectory Fields, Church Stretton. The finish is at Shrewsbury Quarry. The event has a minimum age of 16. Dogs and prams are not permitted.
The route is officially measured and was manually measured to the centimetre using a measuring wheel. Participants receive a bespoke medal that is newly designed each year. Technical running T shirts are available for an additional charge. A free bag transfer operates from the start line to the finish line. Marshals are noted for their support along the course.
A Shropshire Challenge medal is awarded to those who complete both the Church Stretton 50K and the Shrewsbury 50K. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
