Shotley 24
Shotley 24 is a 24 hour trail running and camping weekend taking place Saturday 18th to Sunday 19th July 2026 at Shotley Village Hall, Stutton, IP9 1LX on the Shotley peninsula in Suffolk.
The event uses a fully marked coastal lap of 4.3 miles that includes farm track, forest path, country lanes, riverbank and tarmac footpath. Race headquarters provides space for tent camping and campervanning as part of the entry fee. Camping at race HQ is for registered runners only.
Entries are offered for solo runners, pairs, small teams (3-4) and large teams (5-6). Minimum age is 18. Entry fees per person are: £80 solo, £75 pairs, £70 small team, £65 large team, plus £2 for non attached. Entries opened 21 September 2025 and close 21 June 2026; the event had 42 participants registered at the time of listing.
Included with entry are overnight camping at race HQ, event parking and toilets, chip timing, a bespoke medal for all competitors, a vest for anyone completing one lap or more and a unique vest for solo runners who complete 100 miles or more. The event provides first aid cover and is licensed by the TRA and held under UK Athletics rules.
Optional extras include a sauna and plunge pool £15, a bacon roll and coffee on Sunday morning £5, and massages with price to be confirmed. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
