The Maverick Suffolk Gravel : Wantisden Hall, Suffolk
The event takes place on Saturday 28 November 2026 at Wantisden Hall in the Suffolk Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Routes run through woodland and largely unspoilt landscape that includes sites of scientific and nature interest. The course is described as super flat and fast, with easy forest trails and some sandy sections.
There are three marked and timed route options:
- 23 km Half Marathon, elevation gain +118 m
- 16 km Middle route, elevation gain +69 m
- 9 km Short route, elevation gain +58 m
Outposts provide a top-up of sweet and savoury snacks, gels and electrolyte. The Short route has no outpost. There are two outposts on the Middle route (around 6 km and 11 km) and two on the Half Marathon (around 6 km and 18 km). Toilets are available at the event start and finish only.
Event facilities listed include free parking, a fully marked course, fully timed results, online results, event photography, food and drink availability, a bag drop area and a finishers medal. The event is dog friendly when a dog is added to the entry. The organiser requests participants bring a reusable cup or bottle as outposts aim to be cup free.
Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a participating adult. Online entry closes shortly before the event and day entries may be available if the event is not sold out. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
