Race details and logistics

The course is a road race on paved roads and will be officially timed. Awards are given for Overall, Masters and Age Group winners. All finishers receive a custom finisher medal, and the first 250 registrants are guaranteed a custom race shirt. Participants are provided a free strawberry shortcake after the run. The event benefits Sunshine Horses, a not-for-profit that rehabilitates, retrains and seeks adoptions for retired Standardbred race horses.

Free parking is available at the race site. Packet pickup is scheduled before the race on Friday, June 12 (time TBD) and on race day at the race site. Dogs are requested to be left at home because some horses on the farm can be sensitive to new animals. The race day is followed by the Sunshine Horses Open House at the facility.
