Shoreline Marathon

Shoreline Marathon takes place at Solimar Beach in Ventura, California, on a 100% beachfront course along the Rincon HWY-1 bike path. The event includes multiple race distances and a course certified as a Boston Qualifier.

Distances:

• Full marathon - three-loop course, mostly flat
• Half marathon
• 10k
• 5k

The course offers long stretches of ocean views and generally flat terrain. The full marathon carries a 7:00 hour time limit. An early start option is available for full marathon runners who need extra time; runners using the early option must notify organizers and be prepared for limited water station coverage during the first portion.

All finishers receive a finisher medal, a premium sublimated tech shirt, a premium runner's hat, and a reusable tote bag. The post-race expo includes a complimentary glass of beer and a plate of street tacos for runners; under-21 runners are offered a free root beer. Friends and family may purchase food and beer tickets.

Awards are given to the top three overall finishers, the top three in each age group for all distances, and the top three teams. The race is part of the Surfers Point Race Series, with a special series finisher medal for those who complete all three races.

Water stations use a cup-less system for safety and environmental reasons; a reusable cup is available for purchase. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
