Event Details
The Shoreline Marathon is an annual running event taking place on July 12, 2026. It is a Boston Qualifier marathon certified by USATF (certification number CA24016TEB).
Course Information
The event takes place on a 100% beachfront course at Solimar Beach in Ventura, California. Runners follow the Rincon Highway 1 bike path. The course is described as mostly flat with ocean views. The marathon distance involves three loops. There is a generous seven-hour time limit for the full marathon, and an early start option is available at 6:00 AM for runners needing more time. The event features cup-less water stations for environmental and safety reasons.

Participant Perks

Awards
Awards are given for the following categories across all distances:
- Top 3 overall male and female finishers.
- Top 3 male and female finishers in each age group.
- Top 3 teams in the team competition.
Additional Notes
