Shoreline Marathon
The Shoreline Marathon is held in Ventura at Solimar Beach, 2808 Pacific Coast Hwy, Ventura CA 93001. The event is in its 13th year and features oceanfront running along the Ventura beachfront and Historic Old Rincon Highway.

- Full marathon - mostly flat, three loop course
- Half marathon
- 10K
- 5K
The full marathon is USATF certified and is designated as a Boston Marathon qualifying course. The course is described as mostly flat with ocean views. Water and Gatorade stations are placed about every 1.5 miles. This event operates cupless water stations using hands free dispensers; a reusable cup can be purchased at packet pickup or race day check in.
The race is walker friendly and allows up to seven hours to complete the full marathon. An early start option is offered for full marathon runners who need more time; this option requires advance notification and participants must know the course. Packet pickup takes place the Saturday before the race at Ventura Fit Body Boot Camp and race day packet pickup is available at the starting area. Race day registration is not offered.
Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers overall and to the top three in each age group. The event is part of the Surfers Point Race Series, which awards a special finisher medal to participants who complete all three series races.
