Shoreham Wading River Community Programs 4th of July
The event takes place at Miller Avenue School in Shoreham, NY and is scheduled for July 4. It includes both a community 1 Mile and a 5K run and walk and will proceed rain or shine.
Distances offered
- 1 Mile with separate age categories for 12 and under and for 13 and over
- 5K run and walk with live result options
On-course and event amenities include live, text, and email results for the 5K, free finish line photos, personalized bibs for registrations made three weeks in advance, and water and fruit at the event.
Awards are presented for the top three male and female finishers in the 5K, the top three male and female finishers in the 1 Mile 12 and under category, and the top three finishers in the 1 Mile 13 and over category.
Bib pickup is available before the event at the Miller Avenue School gymnasium and in person on the day of the event through event staff. A bib number is required for pickup. Last minute registrants within 24 hours may receive their bib number by text shortly after registering. A course route is published online.
