Shoreham Wading River Community Programs 4th of July
This community event is held on July 4 at Miller Avenue School, 3 Miller Ave., Shoreham, NY 11786. The event includes a one-mile race with separate categories by age and a 5K Run/Walk.

Amenities listed for the event include live text and email results for the 5K, free finish line photos, personalized bibs for registrations completed three weeks in advance, and water and fruit at the course. Awards are distributed to the top three male and female finishers in the 5K, the top three male and female in the 1 Mile (12 and under), and the top three finishers in the 1 Mile (13 and over).
Bibs may be picked up early on Thursday, July 2 in the Miller Ave. gymnasium from 5:30 to 8:00 pm. Day-of pickup is handled by event staff starting one hour before the event; a bib number is required for pickup. Last-minute registrants within 24 hours are reported to receive their bib number by text within 90 seconds.
