Shore AC Adult Cross Country Series
The Shore AC Adult Cross Country Series is a six-week 5K cross country race series held on consecutive Saturdays in October and November 2026 at different Monmouth County parks. Races take place at the following locations and dates: Oct. 3 Big Brook Park, Oct. 10 Wolf Hill Recreation Area, Oct. 17 Holmdel Park, Oct. 24 Tatum Park, Oct. 31 Huber Woods Park, and Nov. 7 Thompson Park. Staging information lists 44 Longstreet Road in Holmdel but exact meeting locations change each week.
Pre-registration is required and registration is processed through RunSignUp; limited race-day registration may be available if space permits. Entry fees are $50 for the full series or $10 per week. Each weekly race is capped at 125 participants except Holmdel Park, which is capped at 200. The minimum age is 16 and all participants must sign the registration waiver.
Team and individual scoring use traditional cross country methods. Team scoring is based on a team’s best four weeks; a team needs three male and/or three female finishers per race to score. One-point deductions apply for the first male and female masters in the 40s, 50s, 60s, and 70s categories. Individual age-group awards for open, 40s, 50s, 60s, and 70s are based on each person’s best four finishes. Custom 2026 team trophies, weekly raffle prizes, and overall and age-group awards are presented, with awards given after the final race. Course maps will be available prior to the series. Results are typically published within 24 to 48 hours. Age-graded performance data will be available for participants aged 35 and older via yourtimeplus.com.
