Event Overview
The Shoot for the Stars 5k is a running and walking event scheduled for Saturday, February 28, 2026. The main event is a 5k with chip timing and awards. A virtual 5k option is also available.

The in-person event starts and finishes at Taylor Ranch Elementary School, located at 2500 Taylor Ranch Trail, Venice, Florida 34293.
What's Included
Participants in the 5k receive a custom finisher medal and a custom short-sleeve race shirt. Shirt availability is not guaranteed for registrations after the end of January. Advance packet pickup is available at Taylor Ranch Elementary School on the Thursday before the race from 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Items not collected after the race may be forfeited.

Purpose
The event is a fundraiser for Taylor Ranch School. Funds support senior scholarships for former students and aim to secure two academic interventionists for the 2026-2027 school year. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
