Shipshewana Mayfest Roadrun
The Shipshewana Mayfest Road Run takes place during Shipshewana's Annual Mayfest in Shipshewana, Indiana. The event includes two timed races that start and finish near 345 North Morton Street at the Wolfe Building and use local streets for course routes.
Distances:
- 1 Mile Fun Run (13 & under) out-and-back on newly paved North Street
- 5K course slightly changed, familiar to previous participants
The 1 Mile Fun Run is an out-and-back route on North Street with finishes close to the start. Medals are awarded to the top three boys and the top three girls in the fun run. The 5K uses a revised course and offers overall prizes for the top three men and the top three women, plus winners in each age division. Both races are electronically timed.
Registration details are provided in advance and on race morning. Pre-registration fees are $15 for the 1 Mile Fun Run and $20 for the 5K. Morning-of registration fees are $20 for the 1 Mile and $25 for the 5K. Pre-registration opens July 9, 2025 and closes Friday, May 1, 2026 at 2:00pm. Morning registrants receive T shirts while supplies last. Registration and check-in occur at 345 North Morton Street at the Wolfe Building.
Age divisions for the 5K include 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 plus. The 1 Mile Fun Run also provides a JoJo's free pretzel token for all participants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
