Topeka Road Run
The Topeka Road Run takes place on July 4, 2026 at Topeka East Park, 510 E Lake Street, Topeka, IN 46571, and is part of the town's Independence Day celebration that includes fireworks, a parade, tournaments, food vendors, kids games, and a watermelon eating competition.
Two race options are offered:
- 1 Mile Kids Run for ages 13 and under
- 5K open to all ages
Medals are awarded to the top three boys and top three girls in the kids run. In the 5K, prizes are awarded to the top three men and top three women overall and to the top finisher in each age division. Age divisions include 1-12, 13-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, and 65 and over.
Registration for the listed events opens July 13, 2025 and closes July 3, 2026; fees are $15 for the kids mile and $20 for the 5K. Race day registration is available. Race day packet pick-up is held in the park pavilion. T-shirts are distributed on a first come, first served basis. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
