Race Overview
The US Road Running event in Corunna features several distance options staged at McCurdy Park. This holiday edition offers a selection of timed footraces on a series of loops. Participants can choose between the following distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
Course Details
The event utilizes an out-and-back course design for all distances. The 5K and 10K are held on a 0.78-mile segment, resulting in a 1.56-mile out-and-back loop. Runners in the 5K complete this loop two times, while those in the 10K complete it four times.
The Half Marathon uses a different 1.09-mile segment, creating a 2.16-mile out-and-back loop. Participants in this category complete the course six times. There is a total course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes for all events. The starting line is located near the intersection of Village Drive and Governor Parsons Drive.
Logistics
Registration for these races is managed through RunSignup. It is an requirement that all registration is completed online before the event, as there is no on-site registration available. Packet pickup is scheduled at the venue on the morning of the race. Parking is available in the lot located directly across from the park playground.
