Shelter Island 10K & 5K Run/Walk
The event offers running and walking options on Shelter Island with organized support and on-site amenities. The venue is at Shelter Island Union Free School District, 33 N Ferry Road, Shelter Island. Distances include:

Race services include on-site bag drop, finish line photos, tri-blend participant shirts, and die-cut medals. There is post-race music and a post-race beer for participants aged 21 and over. A guided recovery area with cold plunges and a sauna is available through the event recovery partner. A ferry shuttle will operate between the ferry landings and the race site during event hours, and direct bus service from Manhattan has been arranged.
Course support includes water stops on the 10K at miles 2, 4, 5, and 6, and a water stop at the halfway point of the 5K. The 10K course is documented with a USATF course map. Results and finish-line photos are provided online and via electronic delivery.
Award categories are specified for the 10K by age groups from 19 and under through 75 and over, with prize purses for top overall and masters finishers.
