Shelter Island 10K & 5K Run/Walk
The Shelter Island 10K & 5K Run/Walk is an annual sporting event held on Shelter Island, New York. Participants can choose between several distances and participation methods, including:

The event features a scenic course at the Shelter Island Union Free School District. For the 10 km route, water stations are positioned at miles 2, 4, 5, and 6, while the 5 km route includes a water station at the halfway point. In addition to the adult races, a free Kids Fun Run is held at Fiske Field.
Participants receive a soft tri-blend T-shirt and a die-cut finisher medal. Those who register at least three weeks in advance receive personalized bibs. Amenities include finished line photos, live music, and a post-race awards ceremony. A staffed self-serve bag drop is available near the start area.
