Daisy Dash 5K - Westbrook, CT
Daisy Dash is a community running event hosted in Westbrook, Connecticut, at Daisy Ingraham Elementary School. The event offers a USATF certified road course (License #149019) that begins at the school, drops down to Boston Post Road, follows Seaside Avenue with views of Long Island Sound to a turnaround, and returns to the school for the finish.
The program includes post-race family activities, food, a bake sale, a raffle with donated prizes, and awards for overall and age-group winners. Award divisions include overall male and female winners and age-group categories: Under 10, 10-12, 13-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+.
Entry details note an advance online price for the 5K of $33 before March 15, 2026, increasing to $38 afterward. A Kids Fun Run is offered with a listed entry fee. Race shirts are available to participants for an additional $5 if ordered before March 1, 2026; a limited number will be sold on race day. Packet pickup is available the day before at Marathon Sports in Old Saybrook.
Parking fills quickly; carpooling is encouraged. Volunteers will direct parking at the school front lot, Westbrook Public Library upper lot, the road into Daniel Wren Park, and Oxford Academy parking on Route 1. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
