She Tris Sprint Triathlon - Carnes Crossroads
She Tris Sprint Triathlon takes place in Carnes Crossroads, Summerville, South Carolina on September 11, 2027. The event features women's and girls' race options plus virtual formats so participants can complete distances remotely in September.
The women's triathlon swim is a 250 yard pool swim in the Carnes Crossroads pool, swum by moving up and down lanes. The bike course is described as a three-loop course through the Carnes Crossroads neighborhood on roads that remain open to traffic. The run is a 2 mile out-and-back mostly along neighborhood paths; it is flat and partially shaded.
The duathlon replaces the first swim with a 1 mile run, keeps the multi-loop bike course, and finishes with the 2 mile run. The aquathlon includes a 250 yard swim and a 2 mile run.
Girls and youth distances are offered by age group:
- 4–6 years: 25 yard swim, 1 mile bike, 1 mile run
- 7–9 years: 50 yard swim, 1 mile bike, 1 mile run
- 10–12 years: 100 yard swim, 3 mile bike, 1.5 mile run
- 13–14 years: 100 yard swim, 3 mile bike, 1.5 mile run
Virtual participants may complete the triathlon, duathlon, or aquathlon anywhere in September, upload times for record but not awards, and choose local packet pickup or mailing. Registration includes a training plan, clinics, group support, a swim cap, a shirt, finish line photos, a finish line party, and a finisher keepsake.
