Share The Road 5K, Eclectic, Alabama
The 4th annual Share The Road 5K is scheduled for May 30, 2026, in Eclectic, Alabama, with the course starting and finishing in front of Elmore County High School. The event offers both an in-person 5 km run/walk and a virtual 5 km option.

Registration opens on January 1, 2026 and closes on May 30, 2026. The entry fee is $30, which includes a Share The Road T-shirt. Shirts are guaranteed for registrations received by May 22, 2026.
Awards are provided for overall male and female finishers, plus 1st, 2nd and 3rd place male and female finishers in the following age groups: 0-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79 and 80+.
The event commemorates a local athlete who enjoyed cycling and running and who died after a bicycle collision in August 2022. Proceeds are designated for the purchase of Share The Road signs; forty signs were purchased from funds raised by previous races. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
