Shannonvale 5 Mile - Shannonvale, Clonakilty
The Shannonvale 5 Mile is a road race held in Shannonvale and Lyre in West Cork on Friday 7 August 2026. The course is described as rolling and scenic, with a fast finish back towards the West Cork Technology Park, where the event starts and finishes.
The distance for the event is 5 Miles. Entry is by fee of €25. The event is open to runners aged 16 and over. Online entry is available between 20 May 2026 and 7 August 2026, and on-the-day registration may be available subject to capacity and availability.
Chip timing is in place and official results are published after the race. Parking is available at West Cork Technology Park. Toilets and changing facilities are provided at Clonakilty Rugby Club, adjacent to the start and finish area.
This is an open road event. All participants must follow instructions from stewards and Garda at all times.
