About the race
Kinsale 10 Mile is a road race taking place on 28 February 2027 in Kinsale. The event is organised by Riverstick Kinsale Athletic Club and Kinsale Community School and runs on an officially measured, Athletics Ireland accredited course with permit number 26/495. The route finishes with a fast final five mile section that has a net downhill profile. Chip timing is used and a race T-shirt is provided for all participants.
The race start and finish are at Kinsale Community School. Entry costs €25 plus a processing fee. Entries are for adults only: participants must be over 18. Entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Buggies and strollers are not permitted. Race numbers and T-shirt collection take place on the race weekend and on the morning of the race. From 2023, non-Athletics Ireland registered runners must purchase a One Day Licence for €2 during registration; this fee is paid to Athletics Ireland and does not apply to registered club members. Proceeds from the race support Kinsale Community School Track Facilities, Riverstick Kinsale Athletic Club, Kinsale Your Support Services and Clontead Kinsale Community Games.
