The Shamrockin Run New Orleans is scheduled for March 8, 2026 and is hosted from the Blue Crab Restaurant & Oyster Bar at 7900 Lakeshore Drive, New Orleans, LA 70124. The in-person race courses run along Lakeshore Drive on a course closed to vehicle traffic. The event includes in-person and virtual options and a dedicated kids fun run.
Event details and logistics
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles) : Price: $90. Open to ages 12 and older.
- 10K : Price: $45.
- 5K : Price: $45.
- 5K Guinness Challenge : Price: $50. Open to ages 21 and older. Participants stop at each kilometer and drink a 6 oz glass of Guinness. Top three male and top three female finishers who complete the beer stops fastest receive a case of Guinness.
- Leprechaun Kids Fun Run : Price: $20. Open to ages 5 to 12.
- Virtual events : Virtual Half Marathon, Virtual 10K, Virtual 5K. Price range: $40 to $50.
Race registration and packet pick-up are available: Friday, March 6 at Louisiana Running Company (4153 Canal Street, hours 12:00pm to 5:00pm); Saturday, March 7 at The Blue Crab Restaurant (7900 Lakeshore Drive, hours 11:00am to 5:00pm).
