The Shamrock Shuffle 2026
The Shamrock Shuffle is an annual community event held in St. Thomas, Ontario. This 13th edition features several non-timed routes designed for runners, walkers, and families. The event takes place on open roads where participants are required to stay on sidewalks and follow traffic rules.
All proceeds are donated directly to The INN St. Thomas Elgin, a 24/7 low-barrier emergency shelter supporting individuals experiencing chronic homelessness in the St. Thomas-Elgin area. These funds help provide shelter, nutritious meals, and housing support services. Trophies are awarded in various categories, including top fundraising individuals and teams, as well as best-dressed participants.
The available distances include:
- 5 KM Run
- 5 KM Walk
- 2 KM Family Walk
The event hub is located at Central United Church. Online registrants receive a cinch bag, and all participants can enjoy post-race refreshments, including a breakfast sandwich. Dogs are permitted on the route provided they are leashed and well-behaved, though they are not allowed inside the church building. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
