Shamrock Shuffle - Lake-Sumter State College
The LSSC Shamrock Shuffle is an annual St. Patrick's Day running event offering 5K and 10K distances. The course begins on the Lake-Sumter State College South Lake campus, follows the South Lake Trail via the Hancock Extension, and finishes on the Lake-Sumter campus. The event is described as family friendly.

All registered participants receive a t shirt and a gift bag. The race is timed and prizes are awarded to top finishers. Participants over the age of 21 have access to a beer garden serving green beer.
