Event Overview
The Shamrock Shuffle is an annual athletic event held in Downtown Springfield, Missouri. The 2026 edition marks the fourth year of this gathering, which takes place at Park Central Square. Race Categories
The event features three distinct distances to accommodate different preferences:

- 5k (3.1 Miles)
- Beer Mile (1 Mile)
The 15k is described as a heavy distance, and participants in this specific category receive a medal and a shirt. The Beer Mile, presented by Springfield Brew Co., is restricted to participants aged 21 and over. This race requires runners to complete four quarter-mile laps, consuming one beer provided by the brewery at the start of each lap.
Recognition and Awards
Gift certificates are awarded to the overall male and female winners in the 5k, 15k, and Beer Mile. Additionally, the top three finishers in several age categories for the 5k and 15k receive gift certificates. These age groups range from 12 and under to 70 and over.
