Event Overview

The Shamrock Shuffle is a 5-kilometer run/walk event hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire's Recreation and Sport Operations department. It takes place on March 7, 2026. The event is open to all ages and fitness levels. Strollers are permitted.

Course Details

The route is a loop that starts and finishes at the McPhee Physical Education Center on the university's upper campus. It proceeds down Garfield Avenue hill, crosses the university footbridge, and follows the Chippewa Valley River trail. A race clock is provided at the finish line for participants to time their run.

Registration & Logistics

Day-of registration and packet pickup are available. Participants can register as individuals or as part of a team. There is a deadline of February 19, 2026, to register for a guaranteed event t-shirt; after this date, shirts and sizes are subject to availability.
