2025 Festival Foods Turkey Trot Eau Claire
The Festival Foods Turkey Trot in Eau Claire takes place on Thanksgiving morning at the Eau Claire YMCA. This community event offers multiple ways to participate, including running, walking, and a specific category for those participating with dogs. The event utilizes a wave system to manage the start, ensuring a structured departure for different participant groups.
Participants can choose from the following event distances:
- 5-Mile Run
- 2-Mile Fun Run
- 2-Mile Walk
- Dog Jog (2-Mile course only)
The 2-Mile course is open to runners, walkers, and strollers. Those registered for the Dog Jog must remain on the 2-Mile course and line up in a designated area after other participants. Dog owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets, and dogs are not allowed inside the YMCA building during the event.
Registered participants receive a long-sleeve shirt and a personal pumpkin pie upon finishing their event. Bib and t-shirt pick-up occurs at the Eau Claire YMCA on the Wednesday afternoon before the race and on Thanksgiving morning.
