Event
The Frigid 8 and Thermal 3 takes place on December 6, 2025, in Chippewa Falls, WI (54729). The event includes two race options:
- 8 miles
- 3 miles
The venue is Our Savior's Lutheran Church, 1300 Mansfield, Chippewa Falls.
Race details
Registration is online only. Registrants receive a technical running shirt. Bathroom facilities are available. The race is chip-timed. There is one water stop on the course at the usual corner, and water will be available at the finish area. An awards ceremony will follow the race.
Prizes include a $200 cash purse for the overall winner of the 8 mile race. Top male and female finishers receive special awards. Top men’s and women’s age group finishers receive special Christmas ornaments. Age divisions are: 9 and under, 10-13, 14-17, 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+.
