Shamrock Run - Central Point
The Shamrock Run takes place on March 21, 2026 at Crater High School, 655 N 3rd St, Central Point, OR 97502. The event features short distance road courses that use the Bear Creek Greenway and return to the high school track.
The course begins and ends on the Crater High School track with an out-and-back route along the Bear Creek Greenway. Distances offered include:
- Shamrock 5 Mile
- Shamrock 2 Mile
To mark St Patrick's Day each runner will receive shamrock bulbs to plant. Instead of traditional medals, a medal photo booth with a photographer will be available to take phone photos of participants wearing medal props in front of a rainbow backdrop. Organizers invite participants to wear green outfits.
Parking is located in the student parking lot off 3rd Street next to the gym and football stadium; faculty parking lots are restricted. Restroom facilities are available on site; there are no showers. Entry fees are listed as $25 for non-club members, $20 for SOR members, and free for youth 18 and under. Packet pickup is available on race day prior to the events.
Certain items and participants are prohibited, including roller-skaters, bicycles, skateboards, baby joggers, dogs, headphones, and unregistered participants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
