The ShamRock & Roll 5K is a running race held in New Haven, Connecticut. The event features a single distance:

The course is flat and follows a route that begins and ends in front of the historic Toad's Place, a rock and roll venue located at 300 York St. The race is limited to a maximum of 1500 participants.
Post-race activities take place inside Toad's Place in celebration of St. Patrick’s Day. These festivities include live music, food, and beverages, including beer for participants aged 21 and over. An awards ceremony and a costume contest are also held as part of the event program.
The race serves as a benefit for The Diaper Bank of Connecticut. In addition to financial contributions made during the registration process, the organizers collect physical diaper donations during packet pickup and on the day of the race.
