The Shamrock 5k Fun Run and Walk takes place on March 15, 2026 in Dublin, CA. The event uses a 3.1 miles (5K) course and includes two event options: a timed Shamrock 5K Competitive Run and an untimed Shamrock 5K Fun Run/Walk. Logistics and rules
The race is a rain-or-shine event and no refunds will be issued. Race week early bib pick-up is available. Participants registered before February 16, 2025 receive a commemorative event t-shirt. There is a post-race celebration with refreshments, entertainment, and a prize drawing. Age divisions are specified for boys and girls (5-8, 9-12, 13-15, 16-19) and for men and women in ten-year bands from 20-29 up to 80+. The first three finishers in each age group in the timed race receive gift certificates. Children five years and older must pay to participate; children under five pay only if they want a bib and t-shirt. Strollers are allowed if participants start toward the back; a child in a stroller is not eligible for an age-group award.
