Shamrock 5k Fun Run and Walk
The Shamrock 5k Fun Run and Walk takes place on March 15, 2026 in Dublin, California at 6815 Dublin Blvd. The event program includes a timed competitive 5K, an untimed fun run and walk, a Para Division 5K for athletes with physical disabilities, and an Adaptive Division 5K for athletes with intellectual disabilities.
The course is a scenic 3.1 mile (5K) route. The event offers competitive and non competitive categories, starting line pace markers, and mile marker hydration stations. Organizers expect more than 2,000 participants. Pre race arrangements include designated bib and t shirt pick up days at city facilities and a commemorative event t shirt for participants registered by February 15, 2026; a same day pick up add on is available for a fee with limited spots.
Post race activities include refreshments, entertainment, a prize drawing with local vendors, on site results, and medal distribution for winners. Prizes for the timed division include gift certificates for the top three finishers in each age group. The event is held rain or shine and no refunds are issued.
